Karl Benson accepted the same poisition with the Sun Belt Conference. I hope the CUSA and MWC league expands soon, so we can move on.

Well it looks like UTSA is going to CUSA. LaTech and USU seem to be leaving as well and maybe San Jose St. Will the WAC remain a basketball conference? Assuming those 4 leave and UTA & Texas St as well, lets see what we have left.
Idaho, NMSU, Denver, Boise St, and SU would be left. Would the WAC keep its autobid? Would the WAC look to add Cal St Bakersfield, Utah Valley, and Texas Pan American? Maybe Grand Canyon would move uo from D2. Still better than being independent.
