Significant, IMO, in that the WAC actually took a school from another conference. Helps bridge the gap to Chicago. MAY lead to more schools in decent markets. Stay tuned.

You know, in retrospect, Konya tipped his hand. Remember, he hinted that no D2 teams, talked about finalizing membership, and told you that the WAC brand is attractive to other schools. I think he was hinting that the WAC had a D1 school on the hook.
